The day I popped up to meet Zoe for a pre-gig recce
Zoe’s book. An awesome Coffee Table book if ever there was one!
It was pretty awesome to work with Zoe Wilson at Hypergallery in Henley. One of those “this is just brilliant” gigs which came about because she saw me featured in the Henley Life Magazine’s November issue and thought to herself “I need Vinyl Jen!” to bring the music to her Rock Photography Exhibition.

Zoe @rock_legends_live was a Rock Photographer in the 80’s & 90’s and spent many a night in the pit, and often on stage, at live gigs with Superstars like Tina Turner, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and Prince, to name a few!
Her work remained stashed in her attic for almost 40 years, which apparently constitutes “Lost Media”, how cool is that? But lost no more because, after a successful exhibition at this Summer’s Henley Festival, she was offered a residency at Hypergallery, owned by the very cool Emily, in orange above.

Helen was led into temptation and bought a signed book!
Anyway, it all kicked off like a 2nd wind for her career, and she’s had a great time at Hypergallery during December. The night I was there, Friday 5th December, was just fantastic and despite the rain which plagued Henley that night, we had a steady stream of lovely, interesting people popping in for check our Zoe’s photography, choose some vinyl records for me to play (I took all the Vinyl Records I had which matched up with the artists she’d photographed over the years and I had more than I expected!) and have a glass of fizz or two. Some people, like my friend and former DJ client Helen, above, even treated themselves to a signed copy of Zoe’s book, THAT SHOT! Check out her website here, you might just be tempted to purchase a print. Find out more about Hypergallery here and pop in next time you’re in Henley.
Here’s some more snaps from the night…
