It’s always fun and games getting to The City, gigging, and getting out of there without getting a ticket of some sort, (I did, yet another one to contest!) but Ellie & Rowan’s Wedding was worth the effort because The Libertine was a simply fabulous destination, such a cool joint! Really lovely staff too so big shout-out to Laura who was managing that night, she is one cool cookie, very relaxed even though she ran a tight but busy ship!
I DJed the Drinks Reception for the Newlyweds and it was the first time they’d seen their guests as they’d had a small, family Ceremony at Westminster Registry Office, so it was exciting when they arrived to a full house of friends and family! They chose music for the next couple of hours then I DJed over dinner for them, keeping up a groovy atmosphere until the band came on after me. It was a brilliant event, really enjoyed it, and I wish the Ellie & Rowan a wonderful life together.
